Water help needed

Featured Replies

Can anybody tell me where I can find the default water textures for FS2K2 and what I can use to view them. I want to cover over some land with, Airport for Windows, but can't find the default light blue water and dark blue water that surrounds islands in the Pacific. Another question I have is that when I build my island with AFW the plane sinks in the dirt as if it is sinking in water. Including all the sprays and splashes. Can ya tell me what I am missing. Thanks loads.http://members.shaw.ca/dan_cyxc/sigcard.jpg

These textures are in the texture folder (surprise :)). I think they are in SCENEDBWORLDTEXTURE. As they are all DXT texture you can not open them with a normale paint program and you would need to convert them back with ImageTool (if you only want to need them in a scenery, this is not necesairy of course).>Another question I have is that when I build my island with >AFW the plane sinks in the dirt as if it is sinking in >water. I think you need to use some sort of flatten to make it hard or maybe a surfacetype command would also work.Arno

If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done.
