July 30, 200223 yr Heres my terminal gate gate now if we can animate and editsource code for control variable (Nav Freq)! Were's the *#^!> scenery SDK :-8 Microsoft!!!!!!!!!!
July 30, 200223 yr Author Commercial Member Looks nice. YOu can already animate it using GMax and for the NAV freq, I think that can already be done using the Fs2000 Scenery SDK. It will just take some trial and error I am afraid :).ArnoMember Netherlands 2000 Scenery Team[a href=http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen]http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen/banner.jpg[/a] Arno If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done. July 30, 200223 yr Arno I am having a hard time figuring out how to constrain theparts for animation please help :-)
July 30, 200223 yr Author Commercial Member I would try the following approach.Make two version in GMax, one without the animation and one with it. Then I would mix those two source using the checks on freq and so on to get the animation when needed.I know that this is not a full recipe, as you will also need some sort of check to stop the animation, but I still have to figure that out myself :).ArnoMember Netherlands 2000 Scenery Team[a href=http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen]http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen/banner.jpg[/a] Arno If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done. July 30, 200223 yr Arno the animation is the problem I need to know how to setconstraints so the parts stay aligned when extending the gateout to creat the animation sequence gmax help is real sketchyin explaining how to or I am not seeing the snake in the grassHehe? :-)
July 31, 200223 yr Author Commercial Member It's not that hard. Just hit the animate button, then move the keyframe indicator (the bar with the 1/100 on it) to the time you want (25/100 or so). Then move and rotate your object to the new location and you will have an animation between those two (1/100 and 25/100) conditions.ArnoMember Netherlands 2000 Scenery Team[a href=http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen]http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen/banner.jpg[/a] Arno If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done.
