gmax created ground polygon hardening

Featured Replies

How can you harden the gmax created ground polygons (taxiways and parking aprons etc.) and stop the aircraft bouncing?letats

If that is possible then we can make non flat layouts, slopy airports and runways and all sort of elevatoin variation between ruwnays and taxiways as well :)Michel

I've found that my z direction interference and bounce are resolved by placing an invisible runway in the area of concern. Airport 2.6 provides this option.B

Thats the ultimate solution but I wish if every non flat surface in Gmax can be exported as a hard surfaceMichel

FsRegen can also remove the bumping, but I am not sure if it works for non flat polygons (don't think actually). But when you are using non flat polygons you must be talking about decal polygons, right?Arno

If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done.
