August 9, 200223 yr What does this error mean and how can I get rid of it? It only happens when I try to export this hangar...the Microsoft house worked fine. Thanks!
August 9, 200223 yr Commercial Member Just try to change something in the model and then export it again. This has solved this error for me now and then. Also closing and starting GMax has helped for me sometimes. I know it sounds strange, but some of the error I don't understand :).Another option is to export it while ignoring the errors (this is an option of the exporter), has also helped me and I have not yet found problems with that.ArnoMember Netherlands 2000 Scenery Team[a href=http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen]http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen/banner.jpg[/a] Arno If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done. August 9, 200223 yr Thank you very much Arno!! I got it working perfectly! I think it's a problem when it tries to write the log file for exporting. Anyway, I disabled the log file and it worked fine! Thanks again.
August 9, 200223 yr Commercial Member Humm, that's interesting. I'll check if not making the log file does also work here :).ArnoMember Netherlands 2000 Scenery Team[a href=http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen]http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen/banner.jpg[/a] Arno If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done. August 9, 200223 yr Ya that was actually the only thing that helped. Clicking all the ignore boxes still gave me the error, and tweaking or restarting the model didn't work either! Very interesting this GMax!
August 10, 200223 yr For those interested, I think the problem comes if the name you give the exported file has a space in it. This seems to be the only thing that causes the problem every single time!
