jumpy animation

Featured Replies

hi guys, does anyone know how to smooth out the tick18 animation? my train is really jumpy on its return trip and i thought there was a way to smooth this out. Im just getting the hang of animation so go easy:) and my terminal is quite complex so im hoping this is an easy fix.thanksodog

is the animation jumpy in gmax or in flight simI know it can be quite jumpy in gmax but it shouldbe smooth in flight sim?Rusty Harris

Hi Odog,With the tick18 you have 18 frames per second for the animation, I can hardly imagine that that is not smooth. Can you maybe describe a bit better what is not smooth?Arno

it looks fine in gmax, maybe its the way i have the keyframes setup, im using 4 position keys so the train stop and waits a second before returning and takeoff. in the sim the train takes off and runs smooth all the way to the end, and on the return trip its like it stutters on the way back then runs smooth out again. Ill try redoing my keyframes and see if that helps. thanks all

try to use more frames, you can use up to 1024 frames for TICK18-Animsread you... Migh
