September 5, 200223 yr I recently got FSSC. It is a great program. I built a custom airport in New Orleans East and it looks perfect. The I added towers, their ids and numbers but what about gates. Can I somehow set it up for gates. I tried using afcad to add gates but i cant make afcad read anything. Does anyone have an answer?
September 5, 200223 yr Since you made a Custom (read NEW) airport, FS2002 has nothing in its AFDFILES to provide. In Airport for Windows, you can make a separate AFD file to put in the fs2002scenedbAFDFILES folder, then use AFCAD to open this file and add your taxiway and gate information. I don't know if FSSC has an equivalent. Search you scenery folder for this file. You could also open a nearby airport file using AFCAD, review the data then insert your data, rename the file, and compile it into one of the existing *.bgls. Bill Sieffert
September 5, 200223 yr hey, first make sure that when you make your runways to check the box that says Airport Facility Entry, then I export Scenery and AFDTry AFCAD...if still no go then follow AFCAD instructs for adding a new airport.good luckodog
