HELP ME PLEASE

Featured Replies

I have no idea how to install addon scenery. Someone please tell me where to put all these files! I just downloaded the new cyqm scenery and am dying to see it. I can install airplanes fine, but this idea confuses me, Any help would be great appreciatedCheers

You take all the .bgl files or scenery files and place them in your C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFS2002ADDON SCENERYscenery folder, and put all of the .bmp or texture files in the C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFS2002ADDON SCENERYtexture folder, thats all there is to it.

Basically that is all, but when you install a lot of addons that way it will become a mess.It is better to make a folder for each of your sceneries, then make a subfolder called texture and one called scenery. All the BGL files go in the scenery subfolder, all other files in the texture subfolder. Then open de scenery library in FS and add the folder you just created.Btw, most sceneries have a readme file, that tells you just find how to install them. Always read it to see if the scenery also need other things (general textures (Airport textures for example) or object libraries).Arno
