Hi knnygar. You can re-flatten the area to a higher elevation, but then you will probably need to raise the runway, and that will mess up the airport elevations the sim uses, requiring you to replace the airfield with new settings...

I have reworked the entire airport with Airport 2.60 and Gmax, and removed all the old runways, taxiways and buildings. What is the best method to re-flatten the area and how high do I need to raise the area?

You must found the flt------.bgl (that is the archive of flatten that use fs default scenery for explains the terrain) in the folder SCENEDB/(and found the localization)/scenery and remove it the archive flt------.bgl that correspond to the area.Pablo.

Hi knnygar. This is caused by a LWM flatten, and Pablo is right, it is a FLT bgl or an APB bgl.The Airport Background Polygon's area can be re-raised with an LWM flatten...LWMDataAreaDrawPolygons 1, 2, 1, areax, areay LWMPoly2 4, 0, 1, height, fraction LWMPoint x, y LWMPoint x, y LWMPoint x, y LWMPoint x, yThe '2' in the above code should force the new poly to be transparent. The height is going to be a trail and error decision. The LWM Tutorial had an example, 'LWMFlatten.txt' that should make this clear.Dick
