May 2, 200224 yr Okay, since the POSKY forum is down, I'll just post it here. I was landing the CO 764 at KSFO. Speed was about 185-196 knots. The back wheels hit the runway and bounced off. Then The nosewheel also hit and bounced. Finally the back wheels came back down and I finally had a touchdown. Is there anyway to fix the bouncing? Thanks :)http://www.someplacesomewhere.com/uploaded/9vsve/sig.jpg
May 2, 200224 yr A likely cause is that you have been a bit too fast on landing.:-)Try to be slower, around 150-160 knots.Hope that helps.Regards,Robert
May 2, 200224 yr And try landing with a much lower fuel load. that will make you lighter and allow you to fly slower.Misha
May 2, 200224 yr Thanks for the tips. Misha, I loaded 40% fuel in left and right tanks and 45% in center at the departure airport. Is that low enough?http://www.someplacesomewhere.com/uploaded/9vsve/sig.jpg
May 2, 200224 yr It's important how much fuel you have left on arrival.:-)It should be around 10%, not more.Regards,Robert
May 2, 200224 yr HiYou should make sure you keep it about 10% fuel load for landing, and speed between 138-145kts.Hope this helpsJulie
