Gooday,Have only started playing a bit with gmax doing simple buildings. As I don't want to texture them yet, I would like to change the colour of some of the polygons. Is this possible and if yes, how ? Could only change the entire box's colour.Thanks in advance.Cheers,Siggy

in Gmax you make a material in the material editor no matter what. if you just want to color it click in the diffuse color box and set the color, then "apply".I fyou want to do just a polygon, convert ur model to edit mesh and select a polygon, or a face, and then apply your material.B

Thanks again, Bob. I got a bit further now and am slowly getting used a bit to the user I/F of gmax. Will try texturing next. In December there's a book coming out on gmax, that might be useful for me too to learn a few more tricks :-).Cheers,Siggy
