October 16, 200223 yr Hi all. I have a question about exclude. I use Airport for my scenery making. I have always built on either empty ground or added to an existing airport. I found a great little airport, but as usual, it has the MS office buildings and strange sized, unrealistic hangers all over the place. I wanted to try an exclude. (first time...be gentle!) I went to the exclude area which is click and drag, but when the options come up on what to exclude, I am given a choice of Scenery and Runways. My question is, how can I remove the buildings only and leave the existing runways? I know I can put down new, but I want to know if there is a way to just dump the buildings and retain the rest. Thanks! Don
October 16, 200223 yr Don, excludes are pretty easy, here is one that I'm using on my upcoming Bowerman Field project. It excludes visual scenery over a small area. I've excluded things as small as a fuel box.compile with scasm, and there you are. Note the order of the coordinates, its the nw corner and se corner points, in order of NSEW. Most folks assume NSWE, and get frustrated. If anything goes wrong, check that first.Header( 1 49:30:00.0000 45:30:00.0000 -116:30:00.0000 -125:00:00.0000 )exclude( F 46:58:20.4 46:58:18 -123:55:17.4 -123:55:19.8 )
October 16, 200223 yr Author I just got it Bob. It took 4 of them to exclude all the buildings and fuel box, but it works. I always thought you could only have 1 exclude, but I just proved that wrong! LOL! Thanks for the reply buddy! Bowerman, huh? Hmmmm. Sounds good! :)Don
