Default Objects Replacing

Is there a method of replacing a default object, like the powerplant chimney, (the Pole like ones) with something like used in Airport for Windows?

You should be able to exclude the default chimney and design a new one using AFW or FSSC. If you use the top-down view and fly to the area of the chimney, use the Shift+Z a couple of times to get the LAT/LON on your screen, slew around the chimney to mark the four corners for the exclude.In the scenery design program, use the numbers for the exclude, then place your replacement chimney at that location, compile, and see what you get.

What I was wanting to know was if one could replace the actual default object,(*.BMP or what ever the default art might be) so as to have it replaced anywhere it would show up in the default.Richard L Hill

You may be talking about scenery that is part of the AutoGeneration Scenery. I don't have a handle on trying to replace that permenantly with other scenery.
