question: simple gmax lights

Featured Replies

I started to make a small airport with taxilights. I used a gmax triangle object and I used the light_nav material. I can see the light at night but I also see it in the day. Can I turn it off in the day so it is only seen at night?Thank youBill

If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done.

One way you could do it is trick it using a night texture.Make the daytime texture a very dull blue, then make the night texture a very, very bright blue and map it to your taxilight.Itll look like a light at nightJohn

Hello Arno and John.I will try to make both types. Thank you for you help.B
