Where to get references?

Featured Replies

Hi all!I've decided to make a EKCH scenery, mostly because I can't find any free ones. However, I need referencal pictures of the airport. I've tried Google, but didn't get any decent results.Thank you in advance!-Plasma__________________________________________To fly, or not to fly. That's the question

This is always difficult. I find it hard to find good pictures on the internet. The best thing you can do is try and visit the airport (if you live close to it of course), then you can make photos and notes etc. Also writing to the airport and asking info can work very well (especially on small (VFR) airports).Arno

If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done.

We ran into the exactly same problem with our EFHK scenery. We asked persons working on the airport to take us pictures from the apron side of the airport and I went to the airport with my digital camera to take as much photos from the public side as possible. We currently have over 400 megabytes of pictures from the airport but we're still missing photos of some of the buildings on the apron side. It's always very hard to get those pictures from a lagre international airport. I suggest you to seach for flight simmers who have access to the EKCH and ask if they could help you.

Thx for your replies!Well, I live in Norway, so getting to Copenhagen might prove a little difficult (I go to school), but I'll talk to some danish simmers.BTW MiKu, I LOVE your EFHK scenery!___________________________________________To fly, or not to fly. That's the question
