Problems in gMax 1.2 that i didn't have in 1.1

Hey all,In the previous version of gMax I could make, let's say a plane, put it in a control tower as a window, apply a texture AND lower it's opacity to make it a little transparent. Now I change the opacity in the new and crap material editor (I hate this, why did they change it?) but the texture comes up in FS, but it's not transparent like I set it to be at 75. How can I apply both a texture and trasparency to an object without make the actual texture transparent as when I do that on a finger it is so transparent that the terminal behind the finger is also see-through.
