Error In SFO-Scenery Terminal A/B - Cannot Exclude

Featured Replies

Hi Folks http://www.januranusjaymartin.de/uranusjay...ley-hifolks.gifPlease take a look to this image from FS2002 KSFO:http://www.januranusjaymartin.de/images/ai...erminal-a-b.gifI have tried almost all to exclude the circled old terminal building of default FS2002 KSFO scenery. I guess it is too close to the Gate A Concourse, so all my exclude attempts failed. I tried to exclude other stand alone buildings at KSFO and that worked.Have you any idea, please?!Thx &

Hi UranusJay.It is odd. I decompiled the "C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFS2002SCENEDBCitiessanfranScenerysfo_placement.BGL" and got the Header bounds of the objects. I then wrote this exclusion in SCASM:Header( 1 N37:38:17.61 N37:36:32.59 W122:22:35.71 W122:23:59.86 )exclude( F N37:38:17.61 N37:36:32.59 W122:22:35.71 W122:23:59.86 )and saved it as SFO_exclude.sca. It compiled, and when activated it took out all the objects in the area, including the building in question. So, it's in there somewhere. You might have to try a "halving" technique... reducing the bounds by half, over and over, until you get the single object.Dick

Hi rhumbaflappy!Thank you for your response.I have tried it but with no success. Could you send me your SFO_exclude.sca or exlude.bgl file, [email protected] very much!

Header( 1 N37:38:17.61 N37:36:32.59 W122:22:35.71 W122:23:59.86 )exclude( F N37:38:17.61 N37:36:32.59 W122:22:35.71 W122:23:59.86 )That's it. 2 lines. Drag'n'drop onto the SCASM icon.Dick

Hi Rhumbaflappy, thank you again for all your attempts to help me but I cannot get it working.(BTW) In the view options menu the specific building disappears in the view from above at 1.2 miles over the ground but remains visible at 500 feet or lower. In the normal mode view from above (I have a german language version of FS2002 and don't know the english terms, it is called "birdview" in german) the building disappears at 6.5 miles above the ground and higher and remains visible at 5 miles above ground and lower. This is different to all the other buildings at KSFO.I've tried to exclude 3 other buildings standing alone more or less far away from other buildings of the KSFO default scenery. I could exclude all those buildings without any problems applying my standard method:--- --- ---Header( 1 37.73400 37.48400 -122.51333 -122.26333 )LatRange( 37.48400 37.73400 )set( areamx 64 )GenExcl( "ksfo_exc.bgl" 1 37:36.60171 37:36.47829 -122:23.22223 -122:23.37777 37:36.60171 37:36.47829 -122:23.22223 -122:23.37777 )Menu( San Francisco Intl )MenuEntry( 37:36.54 -122:23.3 3.3528 0 0 0 0 0 0 Scenery_center )--- --- ---This excludes the hangar south of the terminals close to rwys 1L/R with an exclusion area of 750
