How do I convert a concrete bmp file to an R8 to overwrite the default Concrete R8 file from microsoft for my tarmac and taxiways??? Dave

I'd suggest you go to http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/index.htmand download his convim.exe which is a great image converter. Should allow you to convert from .bmp to .raw If so, do that, and then just rename the file to .r8.r8 is a .raw format.Bob Bernstein

I would advise to make a DXT texture with ImageTool (if you use Fs2002 of course) and then just rename it to r8 (although it is a BMP).Arno
