Advanced GMAX question

Creating curved roofs and walls also taxi lines on the ground. Could someone please explain or direct us to an example or tutorial on these comples shapes.I would be grateful for your help.Letats

You are asking about splines and extruded splines. Look in gMax help to find out more informations about the aboves. Basically a. create spline with "corner method" which will closest replicated desired shape b. smooth corners so they became arches and semi-arches c. if the shape is closed you can "raise it/extrude" along xyz axis and convert it into mesh for further playHope it helps Ted

I want to add to Ted's reply.To make curve roof etc, you can probably best make a spline and then extrude it. The GMax help gives here enough info I think.And for taxilines. GMax can not create taxilines. You can best use a program like FSSC or Airport to do that.Arno
