December 29, 200223 yr Author Commercial Member I don't know what you exactly mean with default radio tower or smoke stack? If these two objects are part of the MS object library then you can place them easy by making a small API that calls these objects.ArnoMember Netherlands 2000 Scenery Team[a href=http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen]http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen/banner.jpg[/a] Arno If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done. Sounds like that is the case???...O well. Sigh, ...longing for the days of the original scenery designer (without the SEE4 editor) Lazy, Lazy, Lazy!!! :)
December 30, 200223 yr Then nope (no pain no gain!) you know API'S are not that bad. Of course you could just make your own objects with FSDS or Gmax! andat leat with Gmax you can place them "manually" via the exporter no macro or API needed but it does involve a little work as well! Dan
December 30, 200223 yr Author Commercial Member Maybe there is an alternative, but I never tried it. I think that the BGL Placement tool (or a name like that, it was included in the effect SDK). Can also simply place a certain object (by ID) on a coordinate. Maybe that is what you are looking for?ArnoMember Netherlands 2000 Scenery Team[a href=http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen]http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen/banner.jpg[/a] Arno If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done.
