Featured Replies

Anybody know Earthviewer 3d? Its been around some month already, but just recently have i discovered the power this has.So I was just thinking maybe some talented Scenery Designers out there could use their areal photos, which are of very high quality, and literally for everywhere in the USA!, to create some scenery!BTW, it can be downloaded from nvidia.com (only works on nvidia cards) and is free of charge for 30 days.Anyways, let me know what u think!Cya

Those images indeed look nice (I looked at them some time ago) and in theory they can be used to make a scenery. But such images are still copyrighted and that can make it very hard to use them in a scenery, you would need permission first and usually that means they want to see money :).Arno

If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done.

I see your point, but using them in a non-profit way, as freeware, wouldnt that be ok with the copyright regulations? If not then, oh well, real pitty!
