FSRegen problem

Featured Replies

This is a smallmatter, but a vexing one.Everytime I try to open a file, I getan error message saying the file has already been processed.Anyone have any clues as to why Im getting this?I clear the box, change directories, give weird filenames.... stillthe "already processed" message. Thanks for help.JohnW

Once you have processed the file FsRegen makes some changes to it. So to reprocess it you need to either make a new asm file from GMax or (if I remember correct) there is also a button in FsRegen to make a backup before processing and then you can restore that one with another button.Arno

If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done.

Thanks for the reply, Arno. But, no, this happens even with a new and completely different file with a completely different filename.JohnW

Hey Arno:I figured out what I was doing wrong, or not doing.I didnt have all the Gmax material things set to pure blue,so when Fsregen went to read it in, it showed no materials toprocess and assumed the file had already been processed.Smooth sailing now.JohnW
