More TerraScene VFR sucess

I am having some fun now that I can see my world as close as to real life as possible. Near AGC just south West of Pittsburgh, PAOver KCKB

That sounds great Richard. Unfortunately, the TerraScene file sizes have been too huge for my tastes. The same area in FS2002 requires a lot more storage than in Fly2 (as you know).Cheers,Allen

Lack of Autogen and worse texture blending moved me away from TS. I was working with a 1/4 global tile East of Pittsburgh (klbe Latrobe). Big file but the visual aspect was the issue with me. I am sure that we will soon see tools that permit unskilled sim people to make the FS2002 roads, and coastlines adhere to USGS data as TS does. That is the final frontier.Dick

Dick near Pittsburgh, USA

Dick;I know TerraScene is far from perfect, but I can at least fly over my area that is VFR. If and when you or anyone else has any news of the tools you mention please let us know.Richard
