February 5, 200323 yr A while ago, I prepared a landclass update for the areas surrounding my local airport. I have the .inf and .raw file for it still.I am trying to fire up LCA to continue editing it, but it only launches with a blank set of fields, and I can't seem to import/load the changes I've already made into the program! It's probably dirt simple, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. Can anyone help out?Thanks,-Greg
February 5, 200323 yr Well, since I wrote LCA, I thought I'd respond first. Make sure you copy the .raw file to the same folder you have LCA installed in, and make sure you rename it to landclass.raw. Also, do not flush the file--that will erase all the fields. Feel free to email me with more questions, as I don't frequent the forum often....Regards,John
February 6, 200323 yr Author John! I'm a moron.I was always able to see what I was doing in LCA. I decided to backup my working copy and recreate a new .RAW file. Instantly I noticed the new one had a blue background instead of the white one I saw with mine. Hmmm... Then the light bulb went off in my head.Loading my original back in, I remembered to SCROLL THE GRID to where my work was being done. Voila! My cities and suburbs were there in all their red, orange, and green glory. With the help of your tool, the new Coast-Line-Maker tool, Airport, and TaxiwaySigns.Com, I am working on some scenery for my local area. A little more polish, and it will be ready for free distribution! (minus the taxiway signs, of course)Thanks!-Greg
