March 12, 200323 yr 8 days later...Check this site as well as others for John Young's Bangor, ME scenery... it is a dual-use civil and military facility, with emphasis being on the civil side. His scenery has the ANG wing based at Bangor, as well as other details. VERY well done scenery!http://library.avsim.com/sendfile.php?DLID=22341It's not military ONLY, but at least it's an east coast starting point for ya...
March 12, 200323 yr You can get Groom Lake (aka Area 51) here on AVSIM. There may be other bases too, haven't looked for them. There are some default ones too, like Edwards AFB where NASA's Dryden Flight Research Facility is located. (NASA had/has some Blackbirds out there they were using for experiments.) Though I can't say it's very detailed and I've got what looks like a phantom runway in the dry lake."Let me help you out. You're cleared to taxi any way you can to any runway you see."
