March 24, 200323 yr Can anyone give me a rundown on the default FS BGL file prefixes? These areABP, FLT, HYL, HYP, PKP, RDL and STL. Example being HYP540234.BGL..I believe the HYP files define the coastlines and ABP files are the airfieldgrass areas. Confirmation of this and help with the others would be muchappreciated.I've tried the library but it comes up blank...boneshttp://fsaviation.net
March 24, 200323 yr Hi bones.ABP = Airport Background Polys ( VTP2 polys at layer4 ).FLT = Flattens ( LWM flattening polys, usually used at airfields ).HYL = Hydro Lines ( VTP2 lines representing shorelines and the wave action... layer8 ).HYP = Hydro Polys ( LWM water or land masking polys ).PKP = Perennial Polys ( VTP2 layer4 polys that are usually representing swampy areas { I think ? }).NPH = Non perennial Polys ( VTP2 layer4 polys for seasonal water-like areas? )RDL = Road Lines ( VTP2 lines generally used as layer 31 and 32 ).STL = Stream Lines ( VTP2 lines generally used as layer 16 ).Dick
