In the interests of backwards compatibility, I haven't changed the Trees Library since I worked this out, and the performance still seems to be pretty adequate.I will however certainly use the better scheme on any new libraries I do where backwards compatibility is not an issue. Especially as the use of library objects is growing at last (it seems to have taken four years to get the message across!), and this means that there will be an increasing opportunity for FS to have to open numerous BGLs each time to find the object it needs if we (and MS !!!) don't structure the GUIDs correctly ...CheersGerrish
