Night Lights in GMAX

HiI am begginer at GMAX, and I have created a House with windows. and colured everything using GMAX.In the night in FS2002 though the house and windows are dark. I have placed light spots and changed there name to Bright_Light though the house and windows are still dark.Can anyone help or point me to a tutorial?ThanksAkbar

To make a color emiting light you must give the materal that you use for it the prefix bright_, for example bright_window.If you use a texture for the windows it is probably nicer to make a night variant of that texture for the lighting, that way you can use make the effect more realstic by adding different tints of lighting etc.I assume that you mean the GMax light object when you write light spots? These are not supported by MakeMDL. To place a light in the scenery you must make a simple object with the name light_nav for example. This will then give you a light dot at the center of that object (therefore a triangle is the best object to use).But this is not really usefull to light an example window, more to create warning lights or lights for your apron.
