Dual monitor question

Featured Replies

It was a case of "It wasnt broken; why did I try to fix it"(specs: two monitors, a GeForce 3 ti200 and a GeForce2 PCI)I was cruising along with dual monitors on MFSF2k2, I changed something and now everytime I try to fire up MSFSs with two monitors, the program is minimized to the task bar and there it stays.Any ideas what may be causing this? Also, can anyone explain why it shows I have three monitors when I have only two??Dang, why didnt I leave well enought alone??!!!JOhnWOh, yeah... under the "hardware tab" in flight sim, it shows twoGeForce3 ti cards and not the two I have. Please help.

Hmmmm...I would go to start-->program files-->settings-->system-->hardware-->display adapters and see what windows thinks you have for video cards. Then I'd probably delete them all and reboot. This should force windows to re-find your video cards.Thomas LinTaxiwaySigns.comVolunteers (testers and designers) needed, please visit the site for information

Sounds to me like FS is being displayed on your non-existant 3rd monitor.Right click on the FS button on the Start bar and select move. Then press one of the arrow keys. Then move the mouse around and see if you can "find" the FS window. When/if you do, maximise it on the monitor you want.Hope this helps,IanP.S. get rid of the third monitor that doesn't exist.

Check your hardware settings in FS and make sure your primary monitor is selected (not the default setting). Just a thought. :-)http://fsgateway.com/images/frank.jpgwww.FSGateway.com
