GR2K - changing coastline type

New question, (My lake looks beautiful BTW)Turning to a coastlines, I remember that in Coastline Maker you had to make changes to coastline type only at the border of an area. Is this true for GR2K?I want to go from a coast with surf, white sand etc, to a river with no surf, but I am getting some problems and wondered if this was the answer, if so, is there way around the problem?Geoff

Elevations not set are a possible problem. Rivers follow underlying mesh without elevation specification.Dick

Split up your shoreline into suitable shorter sections and make each section the type and width of line you want! That's the way I have made my coastline change from piers to narrow tan sand to broad sandy beach and back again to narrow rocky shoreline...Bamce

Thanks guys!Been away for a bit but found a solution! as usual a case of RTFM and then experiment a bit, but see the later posting about shorelines...Geoff
