Hello fellow sim designers.I have the previous version of gmax, v1.1 and have downloaded the new version 1.2.Should I delete the v1.1 installation before installing the new one?Will I have to reregister?Are the tutorials and help files different in the new version? it is important to uninstall previous versions first. Yes you will need to register. I'm not sure if the help is different...don't remember.Best,Bob B

the obvious change is the Material Editor, much more like the one used in 3dsMax. Making many tutorials for Max useable in gmax.if your in the middle of a project... WAIT till your done.there's a bit of a learning curve with the new ME, but well worth the effort.joe
