Howdy:Kelowna - with or without the wildfire scar? See http://asterweb.jpl.nasa.gov/gallery/galle...m?name=okanaganI just started testing out some free satellite imagery for BC (http://geogratis.cgdi.gc.ca/clf/en) and I'd encourage you to do the same; it's a bit of a learning curve but if I can do it so do you :-)My current test area is Atlin Lake way up north but since I live in Vernon I wouldn't mind photoreal or at least better landclass textures for that area too.As for satellite data quality: it won't look as pretty as those scenery add-ons based on airphotos, since the best resolution available for free is about 15 meters (compared to 1-4 m of airphotos). It's good for the boonies but downtown Vancouver or Kelowna won't look good. However, it should be possible to just do the areas outside of the cities. Below is the preview of the Kelowna area Landsat 7 ETM scenery, perfectly cloudless and available for free (a 'tiny' 250MB download) at Geogratis (10 years ago I had to pay US$600 for a quarter section of 30-m Landsat 5!)Cheers, Holgerhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/36633.jpg

I'm kinda busy with other things so I don't have the time to do it..The surrounding areas would be great, if you can do it :)
