September 15, 200322 yr Hi !I'm working on a new coastline and hights for my town, Nuuk in Greenland. And I have the coastline and the real hights in a autocad file. Now for my question, is it possible to use the autocad file to make a scenary ?
September 15, 200322 yr Author Commercial Member I have never tried it with mesh scenery, but I use AutoCAD to make polygons for my airport. I have written my own converter to do this.In what kind of form are the heights given in the drawing? September 16, 200322 yr Arno,Is there any chance of getting a copy of your ACAD exporter at all? Happy to contribute for it :-)Cheers,Danny
September 16, 200322 yr Author Commercial Member Yes that is possible, but the current version work with a Dutch coordinate system, so you can't use it directly. Maybe you can use the techniques I used to read the DXF file with your scenery as well. Just drop me an email or have a look at my site, here is some info about the tool http://www.scenerydesign.org/modules.php?n...article&artid=6 Arno If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done.
