Featured Replies

Hi !I'm working on a new coastline and hights for my town, Nuuk in Greenland. And I have the coastline and the real hights in a autocad file. Now for my question, is it possible to use the autocad file to make a scenary ?

I have never tried it with mesh scenery, but I use AutoCAD to make polygons for my airport. I have written my own converter to do this.In what kind of form are the heights given in the drawing?

If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done.

Arno,Is there any chance of getting a copy of your ACAD exporter at all? Happy to contribute for it :-)Cheers,Danny

Yes that is possible, but the current version work with a Dutch coordinate system, so you can't use it directly. Maybe you can use the techniques I used to read the DXF file with your scenery as well. Just drop me an email or have a look at my site, here is some info about the tool http://www.scenerydesign.org/modules.php?n...article&artid=6
