2832 driver question

Featured Replies

I have the 2832 drivers installed for a GF4 ti4400, but when viewing the file versions in properties/ti4400 tab the "Display management hook library" nvdssk32.dll is version 2183. Is this what others have or is an old driver set still there? I have been having some crashing to desktop problems and wondering if this might be the answer. Thanks,Ken

Ken,I think you still have old drivers yet to be uninstalled before the new install. Thus crashes and mismatched infoLjewel

If you have the driver file available and it is a zipped file, open it with Winzip or another unzipping program and see if this file is a later version than the one on your computer. If you have Win98, you can use a program available at http://www.guru3d.com/ called detonator destroyer to remove remanents of earlier drivers. They also have instructions on properly removing and installing newer drivers. If you have WinXP, you need to follow the instructions for WinXP since they are different than for Win98.
