MS style trees with gmax

Recommended Posts

What's the easiest way to make simple trees. I would like to make a collection of tree "scenes" using the default textures from fs9 and save them to to use with my buildings and sceneries.rellek

The easiest way is probably to just make a single polygon in GMax and then map the default texture on that. You can then place them in a library with FsRegen and make an API that uses the RotatedCall command (this way your polygon will be rotated to the user and you don't see the tree has only one polygon). You can then use these API in your scenery projects.
