Can the default taxi sing be excluded, an if so how do I do it

Yes they can. An normal scenery exclude should work (I don't see them in my scenery anymore and I have exclude the entire default airport, so they also dissapear with that).If you want info on how to make such an exclude, just search this forum, there have been a lot of posts about it.
