November 15, 200322 yr Hi, I'm making the terrain for my Inchon Intl Airport scenery.(RKSI) Problem is I can't fill up the water between islands. I used Ground2K 4.0 and drew shore lines according to the tutorial ; Ground2K for Beginners. Then I tried to make landmark(LC button on the toolbar) and use Area attribute(F1) to fill the Area with land. But it's vain like the attachment. It was successful only in areas containing default lands. How can I fiil the water? ps. Because I'm not familiar with Ground2K, please tell me the exact process of making terrain or tutorial. I read the manual but it's too difficult. ^^;
November 15, 200322 yr Here's a good tutorial from AVSIM's Library:http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=...hor=&CatID=Root
November 16, 200322 yr Thanks for your reply. But I've already read that tutorial...My problem is my LandClass didn't work. My coast lines by LWM poly works well where default lands place. But in ocean, my poly didn't work....like this.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/48582.jpgAnd you can see many previews of my RKSI scenery at the following link.http://www.skytimes.net/bbs/zboard.php?id=...desc=asc&no=208
November 16, 200322 yr The best way to resolve these types of problems is to include the Ground2K4 LWM file as a zipped attachment to the post. Then I, or anyone else handy with LWM files, can reconstruct your BGLs and work on the problem. No need to include the bitmap background image.It does appear your scenery is either not getting the proper lanclass, or you are somehow getting areafills of water.Dick
November 16, 200322 yr I uploaded my LWM file. It's Ground2K 4.0 LWM because my terrain is for FS2002. (but it works in FS2004) Maybe...I missed or forgot something. :-) I hope someone will find my fault!Attached pictures is Ground2K screenshot and FS2002 screenshot. Green box of Ground2K pic is where I adjusted Area attribute and LandClass.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/48768.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/48769.jpg
November 16, 200322 yr Hi bluedevil6.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/48797.jpgThe Green area needs new landclass assignments... they currently are 000 ( water ), and that's causing the watery groundtiles.The red area has a fill that should be deleted.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/48798.jpgDick
November 17, 200322 yr Thanks again for your reply. :-) And now my question is how can I change landclass assignments?? I adjusted landclass at red area but you said "The red area has a fill that should be deleted." I assigned #47 landclass for red area. Did I something wrong? Maybe I don't know right way to change landclass. :-) I used the "LC" button in toolbar. I read the manual but I could only find this way...
