How export GMAX projects

Featured Replies

Are my firts steps like designer, and I would like to start with sceneries with GMAX Technologies. So far I just worked with 3D Studio ... Always the beggins are hard. and show ups problems for evreywhere. I put em into Plugins folder the MakeMDL and FSModelExp.dle for export them to BGL....I can do anything, I just want to is configure and let it run... For example, I make a cube. and when I would like to export, and save first like CUBE.BGL. and showme up the MakeMDL, insert the coordinates and then start. and appears a cartel said...... (attachment). Always after that a text said that I have an error,... "Running modelStart! (C:gmaxmeshesCubo)Loading X C:gmaxmeshesCubo...Error in exporter: Mismatch between # vertex faces (-30) and # normal faces (1) in part Box01.Error!Error!"ThanksNicol

I don't know where you live, but if it is in a country where they use the comma as decimal character, you need to change your windows settings to dot as decimal character. Otherwise you will get the error you have seen on export.

If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done.
