How do I change or enhance ground textures using Gmax? Are there other programs available that would be easier to use?Thanks.

What do you mean with change and enhance the ground textures?If you only want to change the way they look you only need a paint program to make new bitmaps. You will also need ImageTool to convert them to DXT format again.If you do not want to change the looks of the textures, but more the texture type used for a certain area you need to change the landclass files. There are some nice programs to help you here (can't think of the names now).GMax will not help you with this in any way, it is only for 3D objects.
