Featured Replies

Hey all...probably something really stupid im doing wrong but having problem having my textures show up in fs2004 using gmax and photo real texture. i have no problem getting them on my object in gmax but dont show in fs2004..my object just shows up grey. Ive tried looking for past posts and tutorials but just no luck..even bought the gmax bible and still cant seem to figure it out. any help would be greatly appriciated..thanks in advance

Hi, make sure that your textures in aircraft folder be 32bit, 16bit, 8bit, DXT1 or DXT3 format, if your textures are in 24bit format then they wont showup in FS, hope this help.

Yes, it is best to save them in DXT format with mipmaps in the scenery TEXTURE folder. Otherwise you could get problems in them showing.

If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done.
