March 1, 200422 yr Osman,I considered the same program but while waypoints include the region code, as well as lat and lon, they do not associate the region with some geographic area. Like if my aircraft is in Washington State in the US the region code is K1. I found a map that shows this. (Another source is to use BGLXML to dump the airport files and comb them for the data.)So the program would have to somehow know how to assoicate a particular lat lon pair with a geographic name list. (IF lat = x and lon = y THEN state-country EQUALS "name".)I guess we may have to resort to doing this if we can't come up with one of the CD ROMs from the ICAO. They want a small fortune for their data products. (Are they part of the UN! {:-() Anyway, I'm thinking of posting a request in the General FS forum where possibly someone in the aviation industry possibly has access to this and might share and old outdated copy with us. I would take it upon myself to extract a region list and share it with everyone.Larry
