Ground2k4 help needed with ground texture

Featured Replies

I am a newbie and am trying to create a small island in a single grid for FS9. I followed the recent thread relating to creating an island for FS 2002. I am still creating only the landmask with the shore. The settings for the mask are: General - Poly with Shore, LWM, altitude = 0; Lines - 1032 Y Ocean/Bank/Perennial; Layer 9, Width 20, Land on the right is on, Join ends of line is on (I did not join the ends when I drew the mask); Layer SCASM settings are default (16)LWM - LWM/Poly is set to Land; Altitude is default -.9999 meters.I assigned Landclass 130 Y Rock to the Land Class grids all the way out to 8 x 8.Can anyone tell me what I am still doing wrong. Thanks.Craig

Hello Craig,As you have described it, this should work without problems. Perhaps you could post some images of the Ground2K4 workspace? If everything has been created correctly, then it might be a problem with declaring the scenery correctly in the Flight Simulator library.Best regards.Luis

Hi Luis,Thank you very much for responding. Below are images showing the land class assignments. I used a screen capture from FS9 as the template and was succesful in creating roads from the same template. Thank you.Craig

Hello Craig,A slight problem with your attachments - perhaps you could try again? Also, you may want to check the coordinates of your project. Sometimes, there are simple errors that occur, for example, inversing coordinates, forgetting negative signs, etc.Best regards.Luis
