If you are building the airport for FS2002, then using Scenery Creator or Airport for Windows is appropiate. Using AFW, I used the create polygon tool to make the aprons. I don't know if Scenery Creator has a similiar tool but would assume it does.For FS2004, I recommend using AFCAD221 or SceneGenX - http://www.airportforwindows.com/ since both use the new XML scenery design.Scenery Creator has a forum here at AVSIM, you might get a better response in that forum.W.
