A small problem with taxiway lights

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,I've a little problem with my taxiway lights. One some parts of the taxiway, there's no lights, and on the other parts they show up correctly (see the attached picture). How can I fix this? I'm using FS Scenery Creator.taxiwaylights.jpg

I assume you are using the Taxiway object for your taxiway? Have you tried to lower the spacing of the lights to see if that helps?

Yes, those taxiways are 2D objects. I'm curious, how does the lowering of the space help? Anyways, I'm going to test it.EDIT: But where can I lower the space?

In the properties of your taxiway you can set the spacing of the lights, the default is 60 meters or so. I think if you make it smaller you could get the missing lights back.

Ok, I tried this, and it didn't work (maybe I didn't do everything right ;.) ). I changed the spacing of the taxiway, but I had to do it after marking the dots available (see the picture).http://members.surfeu.fi/johakaik/fs2002/selection.gifThe problem stays:http://members.surfeu.fi/johakaik/fs2002/lights1.jpghttp://members.surfeu.fi/johakaik/fs2002/lights2.jpgAny other suggestions?

Hi,Click on the color of the light and select custom color. Then click in the rectangle of the color (probably white color) and select blue color. Then click a couple of times okay and try it. I guess it's the problem with the coloring type used in newer version of FS (older versions used a palette for these colors).Another variant of making color is by using line, where You can set the color of dots, distance of them and so on. I prefer this instead of taxiway's lights feature - also because I can put not only colored dots but also objects (macros)Hope it helps and best regards,Goran BrumenFS Slovenija 2002 teamhttp://slovenia.avsim.net

Errr...would you explain that what color do you mean? And I'm using FS 2002 (does it use palette to coloring??).
