May 20, 200422 yr Got a bit of an odd situation here. I have been putting together a small airfied using FSArchitect. I wanted to create a small shale taxiway and using PSP7 came up with what I thought was the ideal solution. Using imagetool I created mipmaps then format DTX1 and saved as a bmp. When I use this in Gmax for textures it works fine, however for this taxiway all I got was a white line. I then tried again but this time created an r.8 file, same result.Anyone got amy solutions or ideas on this, it seems very odd that it does not want to recognise either of the textures despite both being in recognised formatsThanksPaul
May 20, 200422 yr Author Commercial Member Hi Paul,On what kind of object are you applying the texture? Is the taxiway made as a polygon or as a road? May 20, 200422 yr Thanks for coming back arno,I have tried both believe it or not and they have the same result...weird
May 21, 200422 yr Author Commercial Member Very strange, your texture seems to be correct. Are you maybe using a long name or a name with spaces for the texture? I don't know which command Architect uses to call the textures, but the older commands don't always like such names.
