Best Way to Move Rivers?

I was wondering what was the best way to realign smallish sections of rivers in FS9. For example both the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and the Black Canyon of the Gunnison have rivers that deviate up and down the walls of the canyons. I know that Ground2k4 is something that could be used but I was wondering if there were other (easier to use?) programs that could be used for small areas and/or for just moving roads rivers.

I use coastlinemaker to move coastlines and roads. I believe it works for rivers as well.Phil
