Moving an object

Hisorry to bother you all with this really basic stuff - I'm not a sceney designer, I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I have some ships (in FS2002) in the southern hemisphere that I'd like to put in the English channel. I have absolutely no idea how to go about this but I'm sure you scenery experts will easily be able to enlighten me! What should I do, and how should I do it?Many thanks,Mike Bagwell

Do you know if the ships were addon scenery or default scenery? If default, they are probably library objects. FS2004 has updated library objects from FS2002. There are ships available. Search the library for makexml*.zip. Download both files. One contains a *.doc file with pictures of the library objects.Adding library objects is relatively easy. The following example shows the XML information for adding two library objects:<?xml version="1.0"?>The file is compiled with BGLCOMP.EXE and placed in a scenery folder of choice. Additional information is available at http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimulator/ , downloads, FS2004SDK. Also SceneGenX is available from http://www.airportforwindows.com/ . SGX provides a Graphical User Interface (GUI) that aids in scenery development.W. Sieffert

Hi. Thanks for your help. Unfortunately the ships in question are addon scenery contained in a bgl file. The second problem I have is that I want to place the ships in FS2002, not FS2004.Thanks for your helpMike
