June 9, 200421 yr Howdy all,Is it possible to add a fs9 effect to an api macro i.e. adding the fs9 beacon effect to a macro generated with fsdsv2? If so, how?Appreciation in advance.
June 9, 200421 yr Commercial Member Yes, it is possible with the SCASM GObj command. But to get the location and altitude of the effect file correct (if it should not be on the ground) you need to add a new RefPoint to the macro. Otherwise the effect will always show at the reference point of the origional macro. So with some handtweaking of the source you should be able to add an effect, I used it to add smokey to chimneys or light to lighthouses. When I get home I will try to find a piece of source code as example. Arno If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done.
