June 13, 200421 yr Having experimented with afcad2 !!!I first saved my original airport bgl to a new location and then did a change to the airport by adding in a missing apron and taxiway.I then tried just to save the bgl back to the original file location with the same name as fs designated. Running fs the scenery had changed but was populated all over with autogen scenery, trees, buildings on runways etc. Does this mean that you cannot simply edit a bgl file in afcad you must save it as an addon scenery each time.Any feedback appreciated

You can then add this file to the Addon scenery folder for example. The scenery engine will use this new BGL file instead of the default airport. If you make an additional change later on you can simply overwrite the BGL you made in the Addon scenery folder. If you then still get the autogen, I think you need to add some excludes, but normally the grass polygon under the airport should take care of that.
