Scenery objects

Recommended Posts

Guest flightplan

Hi,My name is Tom and I want to say hello to everyone. I'm new to this forum and FS2004. I want to place objects such as fuel trucks, fork lifts, cars, trees, buildings, etc. in and around my parked aircraft - cargo type. Can anyone suggest a scenery program that a novice like me could use. Hopefully, a program that would have ready made objects or objects to use as templates. In other words, something easy to learn. Thanks.Tom:-wave

SceneGenX - http://www.airportforwindows.com/ is probably is easiest to use for adding Library Objects. It will require you to define the airport you want to add the objects. Once you setup SGX on your computer, setup the working folders, then you start a project for the airport. I recommend visiting the Airport for Windows forum at http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/cgi/dcforum/dcboard.cgi for information about setting up SGX. Search on wsieffert to find small quick tutorial for setting up SGX.I recommend downloading jetways2.zip, read the JetwaysHowTo.txt file for an example of writing the *.xml for adding library objects. Download the FS2004_BGLCOMP_SDK.exe - http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimulator/ for more information about scenery design.W. Sieffert
