July 26, 200421 yr Hi all!Maybe this was already discussed before but I run into this problem and I could not find a thread on this. Here's my problem:The roads I made in Ground2K4 do not show over the custom landclass texture. I used the default layer 32 in the ground2k4 lines dialog box. I placed the _9.bgl files (that's the roads isn't it?) in the AddonSceneryMyCityScenery folder and the exclude and landclass files (LC_080_027.bgl) in the Addon SceneryScenery folder which is a lower layer numnber than MyCityScenery. The customs textures are placed in Addon ScneeryTexture folder. Is it really not possible to put roads over custom textures or is there something that I did wrong? Is there something that needs to be tweaked in the roads file to make the roads show over the custm texture?I am using Ground2K4 v5.33.Will appreciate any replies. Thank you.manny3
July 26, 200421 yr Author Hello Manny,You have not done anything wrong. Custom ground textures always override and replace all other terrain scenery (L/WM and VTP). Nothing to be done about it.But, the question arises - why would you want to place VTP roads over your custom textures when they already show the real roads? Just curious.Best regards.Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
July 26, 200421 yr Hi Luis,Thank you for the reply. My custom textures cover only a small area around the airport and my roads in the texture is not exactly the same as the vtp roads which extend farther out. Well, I guess I'll have to make them really match. Thanks again. :)manny3
July 27, 200421 yr Author Hello Manny,In this case, you could place your ground textures using the VTP2 function in Ground2K4. Then, the VTP roads would display over them.Best regards.Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
